BUYING ONLINE:

About Us

This website is owned and operated by Daisy Cheynes Limited. You can contact us by emailing sales@daisycheynes.com, by phoning 0131 629 6758, or by post: Daisy Cheynes, 51 Raeburn Place, Edinburgh EH4 1HX.

Making A Contract With Us

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order. Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods you have ordered we will email you again to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us. If we cannot accept your order, we will refund any payment made.

We try to keep our stock availability up to date on our website, but as the products are also available to buy in our shop, very occasionally products can sell out before we can update our website inventory. If this happens, or if we have made a pricing error, or are unable to process your order for any other reason including problems collecting payment, we will contact you to advise you of this and that we are unable to complete your order. You will not receive an email confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us.

How To Place Your Order

select the quantity of the product(s) you wish to purchase and click the Add to basket button. Your chosen products(s) will be shown in your shopping basket. From the basked, click the Continue Shopping to buy more items or click the Go to checkout button to checkout.

If you have ordered from our website before, log in to your account by entering your last name and email address into the login fields and clicking Sign In. If you are a new customer, you should click the I’ve never shopped here before link to enter your details.

We will deliver your order to your card billing address unless you specifically enter a different delivery address. You also have the additional option to collect your order at our store in Edinburgh. If you have any coupons or you wish you provide us with special delivery instructions, you can enter these on this page. Click Continue when you have finished to go to your Order Summary.

The order summary will show your purchases and the delivery charge, which will be based on the weight of your order, unless your order totals over £50, in which case delivery is free. Click the Pay using PayPal button to go to the payment page on PayPal.

On PayPal you can pay using your PayPal account, or you can pay by either credit card or debit card – you do not need to have a PayPal account to pay by card, and all major credit and debit cards are accepted.

After you have paid for your order, you will be returned to the Daisy Cheynes website where you will be able to view and print a copy of your order for your records.

All prices include VAT at the prevailing rate.

Delivery

Delivery is normally made within five working days. We will dispatch your order as soon as possible, either the same or next working day.

Delivery charges are based on the size and weight of your products, and delivery is free for orders of £50 or over. Click and collect from our shop in Edinburgh is available for no charge, and your order will be ready for collection the next day after 12 noon.

Delivery outside the UK

Currently we do not deliver outside of the UK. We do intend to in the future however and are working on changes to the website to support international deliveries.

If you are outside of the UK and want to order, please get in touch.

Cancellation & Returns

You are legally entitled to cancel your contract at any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery, however we want you to be happy with your purchase from us and so offer a discretionary cancellation and returns policy of up to 60 days after delivery under the same terms.

To cancel and return your order, please email or write to us. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation, but a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future and we very much appreciate it.

If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage and are in their original packaging if applicable. Once we have received and checked your returned goods we will process a refund of the price you paid as soon as possible (subject to any damages or deterioration of goods), but within 14 calendar days. Please note that refunds can take a few days to appear in your account after we have authorised them – this is due to the way that banks and credit card companies process refunds.

If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value. This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights.

Faulty Goods

We take great care to ensure that our products are in perfect condition when we receive them from our suppliers and when we send them to you. If your product is faulty please contact us and we will provide a full refund (or replacement if you prefer, subject to availability) up to 60 days after the item was purchased.

If goods prove faulty up to six months after purchase we will offer to repair or replace them where possible. If the event that the item cannot be repaired, or if we are unable to offer a replacement (for example if the item has been discontinued or we no longer stock it) we will offer a full refund of the price you paid for the item.
