The Diggers Print

£30.00

Full Description

This pub was originally the Athletic Arms. Being opposite one of Edinburgh’s graveyards, many gravediggers slaked their thirst in the pub, giving it its nickname of the ‘gravediggers’ or just ‘the diggers’. It underwent a redesign when the pub was rebranded as The Diggers.

This print by Ross Mcintyre is A4 sized within a larger mount. The original of this artwork was made using on watercolour paper with watercolour paints.

Ross is an established artist living in Edinburgh. He has been painting since he moved here from Dumfries in 1984, and exhibits regularly in joint exhibitions, often in aid of charities. He is primarily a watercolourist, though likes to introduce other water-based media into his work.

Size: 40cm tall x 30cm wide.
